The mission of the NVM Inc. is to empower the saints of the ministry according to [Eph. 1:22b- 23a; Col.1:18], also [“Eph. 3:9a…And to bring all to the light , what is the fellowship of the mystery.
Within this mission, there is a desire to impart innovation to the community in which we reside, by, but not limited to, organizing various seminars, promote educational programs, accommodate daily needs, and establish trainings for employment. To achieve and enhance these goals, we pledge to partner with local authorities, proprietors, various institutions, shelters, and schools with the hope of receiving greater insights how to better serve in our respective communities
The vision of NVM Inc. is “to have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” 1Tim.2:4 (KJV)
We believe in the Divine Godhead (Col 2:9) respectively known as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three bear record in heaven and are One (1Jn. 5:7). We believe that the plans and purposes of God are declared and brought into fruition through His determinate counsel (Acts 2:23), the Godhead.
Meet Our Pastor
Dr. Carmen Smith was born and raised "in the Pentecostal church". After the age of 10 her parents began to grow more in their understanding of the Word of God and later started a Non-denominational ministry, in which she served as a minister, until she was ordained at the age of 20. The ministry grew and she was and still is very active. Taking part in praise and worship, praise dance and later becoming the Executive Pastor serving under her father for a number of years. She loves learning and furthered her education and is a graduate of Canon Bible College & Seminary, where she earned her PhD in Clinical Christian Psychology and a Masters Degree in Counseling. God wasn't done with her yet and on April 19, 2019, she was appointed the new Pastor of New Vision Ministries Inc.
Dr. Smith has been married for 19 years to Bishop Maurice Smith. Together they have 5 children. She believes in God's desire of unity and definitely the strong bond of family which is created by way of prayer, worship and serving the Lord, together.
Dr. Smith walks in the Prophetic office and she loves to minister to and help people in every aspect of their lives. Using her life's testimony along with Godly counsel, to show that there IS hope of an abundant life in Christ, even while in this chaotic and dying world. Proverbs 18:21 lets us know that the tongue has the power of life and death, so Dr. Smith's goal is to speak life to negative situations and practice applying the Word because this is key to activating the power to overcome the wiles of the enemy!
Her favorite scripture is Psalm 27:14 (KJV)
"Wait on the Lord: be of good courage and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.
Bishop Maurice Smith Sr. joined New Vision in 2002. He has served in many capacities and was later ordained as an Elder. He served as an armour bearer to Apostle F.L. Walker Sr. for many years and was appointed a Bishop in 2019.
Bishop Smith loves to work with the youth and with over 17 years of military experience, this provides a level of discipline to help them and others stand in confidence in an ever changing society. He is married to Dr. Carmen Smith for over 19 years and they raise their children in the Lord.
He believes in fairness and God's requirement of no partiality.

Meet Our Founders
New Vision Ministries was first established in the year of 1996 in the home of Apostle F. L. Walker Sr. and his wife Dr Jessica E. Walker. As the ministry grew, they acquired a building allowing for expansion of the ideas the Lord had given them. .
When directed by the Holy Spirit, the ministry was relocated to 516 South Ave, in the city of Plainfield NJ, where New Vision resided for 16 years under the flourishing leadership of Apostle Walker.
The ministry relocated again , this time to 504-506 South Ave. in the same City of Plainfield and it is where it resides to this day. Dr. Walker has proven to be one of the most knowledgeable and dedicated leaders of our time; establishing fellowship entities and various churches in the U.S. and abroad (South America and West Africa), also there were various learning institutions that Apostle founded.
Then in the year 2019, Apostle Walker did not retire, but was lead by the Holy Spirit to step down from the pastorate and to install a new Pastor that heads up New Vision Ministries Inc. Destiny Worship Center to this day. Apostle and Dr. Walker continue to teach and serve in ministry and have no plans of slowing down. They have been serving the Lord for over 45 years.
